Kagali looked down the road through Tugaloo. It was at this point she was starting to feel nervous because of her mother. Kagali took a deep breath and looked to her friends that had come with her. She smiled at them. "Well, we're here...I'm going to go find my mother...you can come if you can come if you wish or you can make your own way around...it's up to you!" Kagali turned and looked back into Tugaloo Town. She noticed how busy it was compared to the last time she had come. Kagali raised her tail slightly and tarte to pad through the town. As she went through she recognised various wooden buildings and huts from where she had ben when she was a pup. Memories were flooding back to her. She smiled as she walked past some Cherokee indian children playing. They ran over to her and stroked her fur. Kagali flattened her ears back at first, finding it wierd to be touched by humans again. When they went she continued on through the town.

Kagali continued on through. She hoped her mother would forgive her for leaving her. Kagali knew she didn't belong with the Cherokee Tribe and that was the reason why she left. She had trusted them enough though for them to take care of her mother. Kagali heard a child scream and swung round with a slight growl bubbling in her throat. Her growl deepened as she saw a cougar circling a small 4 year old girl. Kagali took a step back remembering the fight with a cougar she had had not long ago and thinking of the damage it caused to her friends. Her ears flattened back and she was going to turn away, the cougar leapt at the girl, claws outstretched and Kagali heard her scream again. That made her decide in an instant. Kagali swung round and leapt at the cougar, she bit into the side of its neck then kicked off the ground, forcing the cougar to the ground and making it miss the girl.
The girl was knocked back slightly and she turned and ran to her mothers arms crying softly from the fright. The cougar rolled over pulling its weight onto Kagali. Kagali yelped slightly being crushed, but managed to wriggle free from underneigth it. The cougar got up hissing and curling its lips back. It lunged for Kagali and missed as it was tackled from a side. Kagali swung round to see a dark grey wolf with similar blue makrings to her tackling the cougar. Kagali was stunned for a moment at this wolf like her. It was her mother, Kagali blinked suprised at how much her mother had recovered and gotten stronger. The cougar shook her mother off and she went crashing into one of the huts. Kagali was soon darting at the cougar again.
